California Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"). It describes the personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used here.
Personal information we collect
In the past 12 months, CrewCheckr ("we," "us," or "our") may have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers — name, email address, mobile phone number, IP address, and account identifiers.
- Customer records — contact and company information you provide.
- Commercial information — subscription and billing-related records.
- Internet or network activity — usage data, device information, and interactions with the Service collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Geolocation data — general location inferred from IP address.
- Inferences — preferences derived from the above to operate and improve the Service.
How we use personal information
We use the categories above to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service; to send the SMS checklists and reminders you requested; to communicate with you; to process billing; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with legal obligations. These are the business and commercial purposes for which we collect personal information.
Sensitive personal information
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under the CPRA (such as providing the Service you requested, security, and legal compliance). We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Disclosure of personal information
In the past 12 months, we may have disclosed identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, and geolocation data to service providers for business purposes, including hosting, authentication, analytics, billing, and messaging carriers, and to your employer who operates your checklist program.
We do not sell or share your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We have not sold or shared personal information, including that of minors under 16, in the past 12 months.
