Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
CrewCheckr ("we," "us," or "our") provides daily work checklists to crews by text message (SMS) and through our website and applications, on behalf of employers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, the choices you have, and how we protect it. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Scope
This Policy applies to information we collect through our websites, applications, SMS messaging programs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). If you are a California resident, please also see our California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA) for additional rights and disclosures.
Information we collect
We collect information in several ways:
- Information you provide. Your name, email address, mobile phone number, company details, checklist responses, and any other information you submit when you sign up, opt in, or contact us.
- Information collected automatically. Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and general location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Information from third parties. Information from your employer who operates your checklist program, and from service providers that help us deliver, secure, and improve the Service (for example, authentication, hosting, analytics, and messaging carriers).
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure and analyze how the Service is used, maintain security, and improve performance. Some cookies are strictly necessary to operate the Service; others are used for analytics and functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to send the daily checklist text messages and related reminders you requested; to authenticate users and secure accounts; to communicate with you about updates, support, and administrative matters; to analyze usage and develop new features; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information as needed to perform our contract with you, with your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service in a way that does not override your rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service: with service providers that process data on our behalf under contract (such as hosting, analytics, authentication, and messaging carriers); with your employer who operates your checklist program; when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
SMS messaging and mobile data
When you opt in, we send recurring automated text messages to the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for assistance.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and consent are used only to deliver the messaging service and are shared solely with the service providers (such as our messaging carrier) needed to send those messages, and with your employer who operates your checklist program.
